2023 정부초청 GKS 외국인 학부 장학생 모집 안내

A. (Important date: Submission Deadline)

Submission Deadline : "The Original hard copies" of all the application documents ---including ones that require original stamp of Korean-consular certification or Apostille certification----must arrive no later than October 24 (Mon), 2022 Korea Standard time to the following address by international post (courier). Sending only soft copies by email will make you automatically disqualified.

Prior to sending the original hard copies of your application documents, we request that the applicant email shzon@bufs.ac.kr exactly the same copies of the original hard copies combined in one single PDF file to the prospective host university GKS official. It is to be noted that the applicant who only send the PDF version by email WITHOUT sending the original hard copies by international post before the deadline will be disqualified.

We strongly recommend you read the "attached application guideline" and understand the required documents you need to prepare and submit

C. (Important) The following documents require original stamp of Korean-consular certification or Apostille certification :

1. Certificate of Graduation/Diploma

2. Academic Transcript

3. Documents (Birth certificate or family relations certificate, etc.) verifying the nationality of you and your parents

4. Proof of Overseas Korean Documents/Proof of Korean Adoptee documents (only if it applies)

5. Proof of Korean Citizenship Renunciation documents(only if it applies)

6. A copy of applicant's passport (Korean consular certification unnecessary)(only if it applies) Note: In addition to the above documents, please check the complete list of all the required documents you need to submit in the following link:

D. (Important Note): What constitutes Acceptable documents?

a) Mere submission of Notarized documents of your diploma, academic transcripts, proof of nationality documents without Korean consular certification or Apostille certification will NOT be accepted .

B) Documents NOT in English or Korean have to be attached with notarized copies of translation

c) Submission of only original hard copies of the said documents without the original stamp of Korean consular certification or Apostille certification will NOT be accepted

d) Submission of soft copies of the original documents bearing bear the "original" Korean consular certification or apostille certification stamp will be accepted

E. Successful candidates will be notified personally for the interview.

2023 정부초청 GKS 외국인 학부 장학생 모집 안내

해외 우수인재 양성 및 국가 간 교육협력 강화를 위해 2023년 정부초청 외국인 학부 장학생을 다음과 같이 선발하고자 하오니 관심 있는 외국인 학생들의 많은 지원 바랍니다.

1. 초청과정 : 학사 과정

2. 초청규모(전체) : 119명(산학협력 55명, 지방대 49명, 전문학사 15명)

3. 우리대학 추천 인원 : 8명 이내

- 6개 권역, 72개국, 1개 권역 당 5명 이내 대학별 최대 8명

- 대상학과 : 첨부 파일 참고

※ 한국어로 강의를 수강할 수 있어야 함

- 중복지원 불가: 공관 전형 1차 심사 합격자(정후보, 예비후보)는 대학전형에 지원 불가

4. 초청 기간 : 한국어연수 1년 + 학부 4년 ※ TOPIK 5급 이상자는 학부과정 바로 진학

5. 주요 추진 일정

가. 지원서류 원본 우편 제출 마감 : 2022. 10. 24.(월), 한국시각 ※ 기한 내 지원 서류 원본 도착 필수

- 국제우편으로 원본 서류를 기한 내 도착하도록 반드시 보내면서 이에 앞서 모든 지원 서류를 한 개의 PDF파일로 전환해서 예비 호스트 대학 GKS 담당자 앞으로 이메일 발송할 것. (중요) 이메일로 PDF 파일만 보내고 국제우편으로 원본 서류를 마감일 전까지 도착하도록 방송하지 않으면 자동 탈락됨 나. 지원 자격, 지원서 등 세부 모집 요강 (아래 링크 참고)
